It's all come down to an end,
The Mob is settling old offensives.
And he days of heroes are numbered.
Unless Kick-Ass does something about it.
This is-
Kick-Ass Book Four: The End of Kick-Ass
And here we go....
This is the most sensitive of the Kick-Asses.
Best villain...or only good villain, depending on your takeaway.
>>94067219
I liked Kickass 3
I thought it was honestly the only good one.
>>94067762
It's the best written one, yeah haha.
But the Hit-Girl mini is...pretty entertaining in its way.
>>94067738
X-men TAS had the GOAT OP
>>94067789
It really did.
But Spider-Man's electro-grumbled "Spidddermaaan" sticks too
>>94067779
Didn't feel like storytiming the whole thing I guess?
Part 1 and 2 would be more suitable for this IMO.
But its your show
>>94067881
I storytime Kick-Ass once a year - because I love storytiming Kick-Ass.
I did 1 on Wednesday, Hit-Girl on Thursday, 2 yesterday, and 3 today.
What do you think "Previous thread" in the OP is about?
Fuck this guy is hilarious
>>94067911
Oh huh, your storytimes got lost in the big SOP round up thats being posted in other threads.
Nevermind then
>>94067996
Yeah, I had no idea that was going to happen.
This is my fourth year doing complete Kick-Ass and it's usually in July/August.
>>94067996
Except its not storytime of pain is it, its just a storytime.
I'm gonna shut up now.
>>94068035
It's a storytime of having fun I guess.
2 is complete shit, but it's just really dumb fun otherwise.
>YOU WANT A FUCKING SANDWICH?
Lucky dude.
AW YEAH TIME FOR BEST BOYS!
Perfection
Thanks!
Ah shit!
What's your next move, Motherfucker?

Thanks!
>>94070438
What the fuck? An actual good ending to Kick-Ass? I never thought I'd see the day.
Screw it, it's not the best (or overall very good) series...but it's still neat to see how it evolves.
Fly, you weirdo, fly!
>>94067219
Who else thinks that the comics blow the movie out of the water?
>>94070589
I have to say, I actually like kickass part 3
>>94070589
Thanks, Dave.
>>94070600
Hell yeah, except the second movie cause Kick-Ass 2 was pretty crap
What's any story without a stinger?
>>94070600
The first movie blows the first comic out of the water IMO.
But I just didn't like how fucking cynical the comic was. The movie struck a good balance. And Nic Cage was great in it.
And Im pretty sure the movie affected the tone of the third comic.
The second movie was meh though.
Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl Forever.
This has been Kick-Ass.
See you around!
>>94070637
The comic is cynical and pretty dumb, but it's at least interesting.
The movie makes everything wacky instead of dumb.
I can't believe I ever thought this was cool
kick-ass is so lame
>>94070799
I realized it wasn't cool about 2 issues into Kick-Ass 2.
But I then I figured out how just stupidly funny it was during the Hit-Girl mini.
It's just so...insanely dumb haha.
Thanks Dave. I actually enjoyed the series in full, it was a fun ride from start to finish.
>>94070659
thanks dave
>>94067219
bumpity-bump
>>94067235
That's like the Most Romantic crossed issue, or the most gentle Chaykin dickgirl.
>>94072499
>That's like the Most Romantic crossed issue
Crossed Conquers All was pretty good though
>>94068356
>not cool dave you should've let that douchebag keep on living here rent free and never doing anything ever
are these people for real?
>>94070670
they both can get really wacky i think that why kickass 3 is better then 2 they embrace the wackiness and threw out the whole trying to be realistic
>>94073905
Aye, but I mean the movie tried to be like very cartoony with the jetpack and the making everything more superficial/generic.
bump-ass
This was pretty good shit, probably the best kick-ass out of all three of them. I don't know why people give these comics such a hard time, I mean it's not amazing literature or anything, but I'd say it's entertaining at least and in the end that's all I really need from my comic books.
>>94070450
What's this page referencing? The cop killings in Japan are a reference to Nemesis I think, but I don't know about the rest
>>94067425
>9/11 poster
ohohohohoou noooo AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHA
>>94067458
>Designated Dave 07/22/17(Sat)11:57:27 No.94067458▶
I gotta be honest, with his fixation with blonde men I always thought Dave was gonna get raped by him. I was pleasantly surprised Millar had chilled out majorly around this time with shit like that.
Thank you anon,
nice to read the whole comic.
>>94075693
I thought it was going for that too, seemed like an obvious set-up
Maybe too obvious, so millar changed his mind halfway through writing the script or something
>>94068612
Okay, the second panel made me laugh.
>>94067976

>>94075432
Nemesis, Secret Service, and MPH
>>94075432
>I don't know why people give these comics such a hard time
I think it's because of the out of the place, but also because people think Millar is shitting on comic nerds and is ultra-conservative.
Neither of which is true.
>>94076883
thanks
>>94077047
>because of the out of the place
the out of place what?
>>94077233
Out of place edge.
>>94075432
The celebrity kidnappings is a reference to the Secret Service. I think the sound barrier thing might be Superior or Jupiter's Children but I haven't read them, so i'm not really sure.
>>94077431
Sound barrier is MPH.
Basically Millar writing Flash/Fantastic Four amalgam.
>>94070600
I think the first Kick-Ass movie and Kick-Ass 3 are the best things that ever happened to the series.
>>94077457
I forgot about that! I gotta check it out, was it any good?
>>94075693
I was pretty happy he didn't go that route. The rape in 2 was super cringey and ruined the book for me a little. I also thought it was weird we literally never see Katie again after that. She gets brutally raped and her family killed and after the times square shit talk between Dave and Chris it's never mentioned again. So weird.
>>94077553
Yeah it was weird that we never saw her again. But it does make sense - Kick-Ass is an asshole.
Like, all of the main heroes are real pieces of work.
Even in the first mini Kick-Ass is near crazed.
And yeah, MPH is pretty fun. It's right at the cusp of being just another storyboard/pitch comic but has enough character to keeps its head above the line.
>>94069759
ah man, why did he have to have a change of heart? I kinda feel sad for this asshole now.
>>94069788
wow, did he kill anyone before this?
>>94070582
WTF? HE FLIES? BRAVO!
wow, that shit was better than I expected.
What happened to those Punishers tho I think I read it too fast.
>>94078310
oh nevermind, they snackbar'd
>>94070637
>The first movie blows the first comic out of the water IMO.
i would agree with you but the ending is so fucking stupid
bumpee jumpy
>>94070600
I like them in different ways. I like how the movies were summer blockbuster fantasy fulfilment while the comics were more gritty and (somewhat) more realistic story.
>Being a superhero is awesome hooray!
vs.
>Only a fucking idiot lunatic would be a superhero and they'd get themselves and everyone they know fucking killed trying to do it.
Except Kickass 3 betrayed that in the end and went with the tone of the films. Hit Girl's mom thinks it's super great and awesome that her child is a brainwashed child soldier. Kickass has a vision of his parents motivating him to win the fight by telling him to use the power of loving comic books.
>>94083049
>Except Kickass 3 betrayed that in the end and went with the tone of the films.
It betrayed it a little.
Because Kick-Ass is STILL a fucking idiot lunatic and ends up quitting.
Hell, one of his most "heroic" moments in the finale is allowing his friend to continue getting tortured until the moment is cool enough.
And like the shrink said - Hit-Girl's entire family is crazy.
