I don't find him interesting. He's probably one of the least intimidating villains in anything that is trying to resemble a psychological thriller I'm not saying "the least" because that spot is taken by the serial killer from Hush as of 2016. His dialogue makes me laugh (not in a good way) and/or cringe when it's supposed to show how detached and inhuman he is. The way he uses his powers feels comedic even though it's supposed to feel like a violation. He falls for the most obvious tricks in human history several times and the only actually good escape of his is the first one, the rest required ridiculous conveniences or outright idiocy on the characters' parts. The villains whose motivation is "I want to fuck the MC" are rarely good.
Oh, and Tennant could do much better. It feels like he's overacting alot. He comes off as annoying when he's trying to sound "creepy".
