Yep. Back during the Golden age of CN, and where they ha da short block called Oh Canada. Didn't get it at first but man did it get effed up at the end.

the technology is off-putting when you realise how it might work.

When I was a kid and saw this on the O'Canada block, along with so many great, memorizing shorts that changed what animation could mean for me. Also, keep it mind it came on at like 10-11 PM on Sunday night and I would already have a late night hazy feeling, so it felt more dream-like.

When I saw this one, though, I bawled my eyes out. I had never been confronted with something related to an existential crisis before, and it effected me in a huge way. So, I'll never forget this short.
