I am too, I figured he'd take awhile to bounce back after 6-7 years of Regular Show but he moved right to his next idea, and it got picked up. Curious if a pilot was made during RS or something.

Not being released yet is the amplify term to show how retarded the discussion is in hindsight, but the problem with that is that it's used in situations where it's calling out notable issues with the series. I can't find hardly any differences, JG's using his style bluntly but now it's just the average human story, JG is still the main character and it's modeled after him and his life, and we still are starting with 2 female supporting mains.

To be frank the best thing about this series would be if the series was about the JG character working at a studio and making a series, I mean one scene already appears to be in a writing room. Then again I hate the "show within a show" gag, but then again again Carter and Briggs and the RGB2 shows were nicely done. I think I just like the idea of a series being about a series maker, a storyboard artist, or fuck even a character designer.

I didn't think RS could succeed past 2 seasons, but this seems 1 season tier because animated family sitcoms don't have the same charm that their creators think they do. It'd need some big thing behind it, like McFarlane, to even get noticed.

Watching this clip a few times and then watching RS again made me feel fucked up, my entire perspective changed. It's like..... i've been interpreting it wrong

Limitations is what made RS fun, I liked knowing that I was watching a safe kid show, but that it wasn't "that" safe. It was great in it's limited state, but then CN kept limiting it more.

I really, truly hope that this show succeeds and I grow to love it.

But frankly, I thought the preview was unfunny as hell.

The thing about RS was that there hadn't been anything like it, but this is throwing itself into the mix of other things just like it, and expecting to be noticed. Family animated sitcom that's adult? Family Guy has that covered. F-A-S that also has a gimmick with the paranormal or monsters? American Dad's been there already.

JG's RS is known, but not in the same line, and RS wasn't a family weed dude haha sitcom so CE isn't a carbon copy in the same way Seth's shows were.

There's still a chance, but I can't imagine this running more than 1 season, it doesn't have the charm RS did and seems run of the mill, I want it to succeed and run 3 nice seasons again like RS but it isn't going to be so easy.

Now I know how it feels for the 2010 anons saying RS was gonna die quick.

These characters have no charm to me like every RS character did the moment I saw them. Except JG's character, but that's because I like him and the character IS him.
