>/co/ claims to hate her
>Her story time threads reach bump limit while actual good comics like Whor and USAvengers are ignored
What did you faggots mean by this?
>Whor and USAvengers
>good
>>94002014
Yes they're both good.
Why were marville and unfunnies threads popular? It's fun to shit on terrible comics
This is /co/, we never shut up about what we hate
Every single one of those has people shitting on it non-stop, its the eternal storytime of pain.
>>94001987
I've seen more Bomb Queen threads than ones about Miracleman.
>>94001987
>actual good comics like Whor
Bait thread.
You wont get many remarks about this title. Its latest issue sold under 12500 copies. Theres a better chance of winning the lottery than for more than 3 of those purchasers actually using /co/.
We never read it or buy it and threads about it are wasted time, (except to bitch about the idea of it...talking about ideas is free.)
We just dont care what Marvel wants from us.
Marvel publishes too much utter garbage to not talk about the worst of the worst. For the same reason, flooding the market leads to fractured discussions, where only the "flashiest" (not strictly good or bad or even memorable, but just flashy in an immediate sense) comics survive.
>>94001987
>good comics
>Whor and USAvengers
Not sure if bait or deluded Mouseketeer.
>>94001987
>Her storytime threads hit bump limit.
>Her actual sales hit rock bottom even for Marvel.
Really makes you think what the important things are.
>>94001987
the only thing holding Whor back from being a good book is the main character
>>94002075
This, I've noticed threads on good comics like Hellboy rarely pop up and when they do they don't last that long but as soon as an America Chavez thread is up it reaches bump limit. I think /co/ just loves talking shit and it's easy to talk shit about some of these hilariously dumb comics.
>>94002254
And it's doubly true for dumb political shit. I don't know if I've ever seen /co/ post an actually good political cartoon (at least, post-1950) but CalExit routinely hits the bump limit even if no one posts any of it beyond the cover.
>>94002254
The thing about America is, every single page warrants a million replies. Almost every single page is so bad, you could dedicate a thread to it alone.
America Chavez's book isn't just bad. It's Advanced Badness. Even a place like /co/ can unite together to talk about it. Its pull is that powerful.
>>94002046
>>94001987
Because it's not bad and bland it's "Story Time of Pain" bad where you can discuss how awful it is while also learning what not to do when making a comic.
It's because it is a unique brand of bile fascination, it's like Tails Gets Trolled but without the genius and impossible to predict plot twists

>The thing about America is, every single page warrants a million replies. Almost every single page is so bad, you could dedicate a thread to it alone.
Pic related.
Because if you talk about a comic from Marvel that you like you're going against memes, and that's a big no-no here on nu/co/

>>94002254
Comic fans in general pay attention to things they hate more than the stuff they like and they loooove complaining.
>>94001987
>actual good comics like Whor and USAvengers are ignored
>>94001987
They reach bump limit because everyone is talking shit, not talking about good things relating to the shitty book. It is not here, she is awesome in Ultimates, it is her shitty comic.
>>94002419
I mean, can you really predict a lot of America's plots? You never expected her to travel back in time and meet Peggy Carter, or for her to meet her past self to team up against a monster, or those white prep kids being robots.
America's story is just a series of random, barley-connected events. You can predict the long-term things, but you can't tell where the story is going, because it's a constantly derailing itself.
>>94002540
God damn it, I forgot about this page.
>>94002572
Yep.
>>94002618
I forget she's in Ultimates most of the time
>>94002540
What on earth
>>94001987
>Its getting attention, that means its good.
>>94002793
This is from the same company that said bad publicity is okay because it makes people interested in their books
>>94001987
That she has more haters than sales :P
>>94002540
Cringe the comic. Sjws leftists are the worse ones.
>>94002540
This is Sonichu/Lightbringer levels of shit writing
>>94002135
Whor is good.
>>94002540
Holy Shit it's like someone took the cancer of a 200 Tumblr posts and condensed it into one page. And this is just one page of a full fucking comic.
>>94002254
We've had Hellboy threads and stealthHellboy threads plenty of times
The thing is, Mignola-verse is good and enjoyable and there's just not that much to talk about.
>>94002014
Explain why it is bad anon. Go in detail to why you don't like it.
>>94003066
He's going to post those 2 pages of Whor from like 3 years ago and give a bullshit reason for never reading USAvengers.
>>94002833
Fun fact: the same guy who said that anger leads to better sales posted this not that long ago.
>>94002540
delet this
>>94003066
Hurting the Purity of Volstagg and making him ripped.
>>94002540
Why. Why did they use an artist who clearly wants to be Frank Quitely for it. Like, fuck, you put that guy on something serious, or something with emphasis on brutal action or horror. Not cutesy lesbian tumblr bait.
