I kinda hate post-Bendis Luke Cage

I realize he can't keep on being a 1:1 blaxploitation cartoon character, but still... his current characterization from nearly every angle bothers me. He's just like... a cranky old dude so much of the time now. Not even cranky in a good way, cranky in a "These kids nowadays" kind of way.

Then again, you could probably say the same thing about Laura "I'm a woman so I can't be shown to be borderline out of control with my emotions like that OTHER Wolerine because that'd be sexist" Kinney. I guess movies and shit have made it so that the superhero flavor of the moment is supposed to be mild, not wild
