My High School textbooks explained the whole thing entirely differently, so now I have to learn it in a new way. My current textbook goes in-depth in certain areas, leaves some vague, and others it barely mentions. Between allthat, it mixes them in exercises, and has no examples, at all. For every exercise I do solve, there are 3 more where I need to post them on PhysicsForums and slowly manage to understand what the hell they mean. Because all of the exercises past "put numbers in formulas" are such sons of bitches that they are purposely made hard to understand, while giving you no images. They make you solve cases of exercises where three parts of the theory are jumbled together with no indication of what to do.

You need 2 or 3 textbooks in each class to fully grasp the theory, for each one has to fill in the gaps of the other.

The guy with tentacles has psionic armor a la Armor but it's something far more metaphysical

The glowing one is Rodstov, an evil motherfucker from a dystopian universe that literally feeds on negativity and was sent as an agent by the First Firmament to infiltrate the Troubleshooters. Think of him like evil America Chavez, absolutely the same powers + energy manipulation. He was beating Blue Marvel ass until Galactus ate him, so it's weird as fuck that he's in the cover at all, so I chalk it up to editorial mistake when Ultimates was supposed to last much longer
