Evergreen was a great stand alone episode too. A simple, but really well executed mythology story. The visuals were particularly excellent.

Almost entirely unrelated, but if I ever form a band together, I'm 99% sure I'm naming it Mortal Recoil. It's just a rad name.

BJ barely did anything interesting with stop motion, prolly because stop motion is a pain in the ass but seriously why go through that effort to make such boring animation

I'm more of a Mortal Folly kind of guy myself. Recoil sounds a little too edgy, while Folly makes it sound kind of poetic or some shit.

Man Evergreen was awesome and I'm not even a lorefag. Fucking high wizardry in dinosaur times, asshole wizard being a dick to his apprentice which eventually dooms both of them, grand adventure in such an interesting setting, the elemental stuff was decently neat, I really dug it. Nowhere near best of show worthy but totally awesome regardless.
