If he can get ahead of everyone to set up traps and cheat why doesn't he just win the race?
>>
>>93958472
He has this weird complex where he literally can't not cheat. He will only be satisfied if he wins through cheating.
>>
>>93958472
>you realize he could easily fufill his complex of cheating by starting before "Go" or whatever the fuck STARTS the race is finished.
>>
>>93958521
There was that 2006 pilot Wacky Races Forever where he was right at the finish line but decided to go back and fuck up the other races because he refuses to win fairly.
>>
>>93958472
Because he wants to prove that his ways work

It's like that Batmand and Joker bullshit
>>
>>93958472
because winning is nothing if you dont crush your opponents physically and mentally
>>
>>93958472
Because that would be boring.

He's the greatest racer who ever lived, but winning means nothing because of how easily it can be achieved.
So he sets goals for himself to make winning more difficult.

It's how he gets his kicks.

Dick is the best racer, and his car was the best.

The thing is that for Dick it just doesn't feel right to win without cheating, to be honest his car alone was enough to win all the races and if he ever settled his mind of racing in a straight line he would win effortlessly killing the competition by at least half the track, where is the fun in that?
>>
STOP THE PIGEON
>>
>>93958472
same reason anyone argues on 4chan despite its futility, narcisim
>>
>>93958472
Better question: why was he the villain when everyone else cheated, too?
>>
maybe he set them up the trap before the race
>>
>>93959010
He wanted to make them better racers by besting he traps
>>
>>93959119
Well they cheated, but they weren't dicks about it, har har har
>>
>>93959119
He's kind of a piece of shit, anon
>>
wasn't there an episode where they presented he almost won fair but instant replay showed him implausibly cheating?
>>
>>93959119
Nobody else cheated in a way to deliberately obstruct other racers.
>>
>>93961094
I remember that one where they almost won but he cheated at the very end and they lost again because of it.
>>
Wacky Racing was just a hobby. Why so serious?
>>
>>93958521
It's based on "The Great Race," a very funny movie with Jack Lemmon as the best comic villain ever, who literally this.
>>
he literally posed for a photo finish one time. got out to do it.
>>
>>93962815
He lost because he extended the nosecone of his car past the finish line. Which is ridiculous when you consider how Peter Perfect's car was already twice the length of everyone else's
>>
>>93958968
Why do I get the feeling you brought this up because you have a waifu you'd like to talk about?
>>
>>93963826
Well, he's Peter Perfect. Makes sense that the judges would be sucking his dick.

This is a very important question and I need to know the answer
Did Dick Dastardly ever win a Wacky Race? Ever? Even once?
>>
>>93958472
Because he is a dastardly, dick of a person.
>>
>>93965661
>Did Dick Dastardly ever win a Wacky Race? Ever? Even once?

He almost won 4 times:

- Once he set up his cars nose to be longer, to "pass" the others. This resulted in disqualification, despite other cars using the same trick in another episode.

- Once he was in first place but in the wrong car, which would have disqualified him, so he stopped (and the resulting crash wrecked everyones cars; his was at last place).

- Once he was on first place but heard they'll have a photo finish, so he boosted ahead, stopped the car, got out, and posed for the photo.

- Once he was in first place, but just stopped in front of the finish line to give an autograph. To Muttley.
>>
>>93958570
holy shit
>>
>>93965833
Is this dude fucking retarded or just some sort of cheating savant?
>>
>>93965833
>Once he set up his cars nose to be longer, to "pass" the others. This resulted in disqualification, despite other cars using the same trick in another episode.
I take it they only called it "cheating" because he's the villain, right?
>>
>>93967828
Ya know the idea of people known for things get busted for things more often?
>>
>>93965661

I feel like he won once in that 90s reboot version but only to win a crappy prize
>>
>>93958968
That opening reeks of the 90s in all the good ways.
>>
>>93958968
The only one I donĀ“t recognize is the witch, from what show was she?
>>
Friendly reminder that Dick and Muttley almost took the place of the Ant Hill Mob in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.
That's right, we could have seen a heroic, yet utterly incompetent Dick Dastardly.

What a world!

Also, why didn't they shoot the pigeon instead of trying to catch it?

It's relaying Allied codes back to the war-room. Getting their hands on those codes could change the course of the war.

sauce?
>>
Does anyone remember that Peugot commercial that became the closest we'll ever get to a live action Wacky races?
>>
>>93970359
isn't that because there was some weird legal issues surrounding Dick Dastardly & Muttley, which is why H-B used a bunch of different expies of them for most of the 80's instead of them directly

>But the ultimate champions are way out in front with a whopping 87 points, thanks to an unbeatable eight second-placed finishes. Popping the champagne -- or more likely smashing it to pieces -- the stone champions of Wacky Races are cavemen Rock and Gravel Slag.

I remember there was that one pith helmet-wearing stand-in with a white Muttley in the Yogi Bear/magic Spruce Goose movie. I can't believe it exists, yet it made up such a big part of my childhood. I guess that's what happens when the local library has such a small vhs rental selection.
