HAS ANYONE seen that 5 second Rick and Morty ad on youtube that's just an alien speaking gibberish and pointing at its watch? It appeared twice on my youtube app and I tried to screenshot it or see if it linked anywhere, but I was too late. Does it mean anything, is it any weird form of viral marketing?
I have.

Any idea what the point is? To someone who's never even seen it, it wouldn't advertise a single thing
>Does it mean anything, is it any weird form of viral marketing?
An advertiser sponsoring a video is normal marketing. You coming here to tell us about Rick and Morty is viral marketing.
I have seen it multiple times it may be a code
I think its a code, play it backwards, find the original, or some sort of more convoluted one like morse.
>Tfw turned off youtube ads so now I miss out on stuff like this

Justin and Dan are trolling the fanbase. Just like how they used to troll us.

Rick and Morty is notorious for having the most unique promos imaginable; it definitely helps that it's on [adult swim]. Remember that billboard with a life-sized version of Rick's ship to promote the very first season? Or how about the meta promo commercials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNhH00OIPP0? How about that fucking Simpsons Couch Gag?
Speakin' of which, has anybody found a version of this Season 3 promo with Morty? There's also a Rick one that's already been found.

Yeah, there's a lot of them in Downtown LA, just saw them Saturday, in fact.
