What Marvel Studios realizes is that it needs to make these films appeal massively and not just be patting themselves on the back for making a diverse character. SJW's have a problem that they think a character being better than everyone else = a better character, which is ironic when they say Superman is boring. One of the great things about the MCU is that they've always done a good job with drawing the line between faith to the comics and new material, but Homecoming crosses it, there's far too much stuff that wasn't in the comics and not enough that was, the most recogniseable points of Spider Man aside from Peter himself aren't there.
