How do you deal with being the only one you know who knows about comics on more than a casual level?
I am black so I feel like I get away with being a sperg most of the time.
By going out, interacting with those who do know the same and or more. This quickly reminds me why I choose to stay around normies.

Normies don't know anything. Casuals are just limited.

I come to /co/ to discuss about said Comics and Cartoons.

I know a guy at work who reads comics, he may browse /co/ too.Fellow black anon, do you also get a ridiculous amount of people asking you if it's true that black people love DBZ?

It gets kinda lonely when I have to dumb things down to explain the movies or hold back on references, but I've got a whole website of you chucklefucks to talk to, so it's not too bad.

Even on this board, I feel like I have more knowledge than 80% of the posters.
All the people who come here for shitty lewds only needs to fucking leave this board.

THIS.
I've been called out on and corrected on comic trivia by actual readers only three times now and each time it's because I honestly thought there was literally nobody legit around to call me out on exaggerations.
And I've been coming here for years so when it happens it's just so damned refreshing.
The rest of the time I'm just trying to get someone to stop listening to the shitposters' lies.
Because of course nobody else ever does!
Seriously, what is the point of making up hateful slander against a fictional character?
Or try to convince someone that a comic story didn't happen?
