I want to do all the Stitch stuff as well, but there's so much and so little time. I LOVE the first movie and I remember the TV show quite fondly. Checked out the Anime for a few minutes, seemed bad with shit animation... isn't there a new one coming up tho? Like a new chinese anime?

I watched the show. It was really cute. Nothing amazing, but it was cute and fun.

The crossover eps were great, because they were so surreal.

If you look at all of the experiments that Jumba made you can clearly see from 621 and beyond it's all very "stitch-like". which makes sense, clearly he liked the design and considers it to be the best way to make an evil killing machine.

But in the anime the villain "cyber" is supposed to be the first experiment Jumba ever made. And he's a dead ringer for Stitch. But that's bullshit, if he got it right the first time why would he ever bother will all that other bullshit.

I kinda love it because of how blatant it is. Something never really feels right when two shows crossover and one of them has to adapt to the other's aesthetic. Francesinha "Fran" Jookiba: daughter of Reuben and Angel, and cousin of Lani, basically a female Jake The Dog in terms of personality(and yes she is named after a kind of sandwich)

Marlene Edmonds: Mertle's daughter and Lani's best friend, is big into fashion(she's basically Pleakely's apprentice in that regard), often ropes Lani into being her model

Those crossover episodes weren't mandated by Disney, so the staff were free to pick whichever shows they wanted. Recess made it in because a lot of the Lilo and Stitch staff had previously worked on it at some point or another, so they had a certain fondness for it. I'm not certain about the other three, but I assume the teams behind the shows worked in close enough proximity to know each other, so they figured it would be fun to work together on something.

I remember the show's staff talking about the crossover a bit back on TVtome. They made it clear that the whole thing was put together because they wanted to do it. They were amazed Disney actually okayed it.
