About all RID has going for it, I think, is potential.

Like some of the characters and shit they debut strike me as characters who COULD be cool if they stick around in the franchise and get reused in a better written show or comic.

And the design aesthetic of the robot modes being based on creatures rather than the altmodes is something that could be used more often as well. Like even if they never reuse any of the Decepticons from this show, if they applied that to say, the Terrorcons or something for example.

Like if Sinnertwin was a dragster that became a two-headed monster, or Rippersnapper was some kind of speed boat that became a land shark. I think Animated did that idea with Blot when he made a brief cameo in a comic? His robot mode was that ogre thing and Word of God says his altmode was tank?
