To me Barry has always been a bit of a father figure, even if he treats older Wally as an equal there has always been a bit of a "he's my son" vibe from him when it comes to Wally and Wally kind of sees him as a dad too.

I think Wally basically sees Barry as his dad, so I don't think they'd have bro moments like Hal and Barry would, though I'd love to see more of them together, I'd love to see Wally teaching barry a few tricks

He has the highest rated show on a network, is getting his own movie and has his own comic. There's not much more they can do for the character.
They already replaced him in Barry's life with black Wally so he has no place there anymore
