As someone who's never watched this, is it worth watching

I watched it as a kid, and as an adult. The first two seasons are okay, but season three to five completely shit the bed.

OP, there are some technical errors in the animation but this is true of most Saturday morning cartoons of this era. X-Men has held up very well through today and is one of the best animated adaptations of Marvel comics characters. Only a contrarian would say otherwise.

Don't let that guy dissuade you. Honestly it's fun, even with all it's problems. Sometimes it's a little silly and melodramatic, but it's the X-Men, it's par for the course.

It has not aged well at all. Worth a watch for how bad they have aged. Also, the voice acting is adorable and horrible all at once. Back in the day it was fucking amazing though. Plus, Gambit is not there as a plot device only so it is better than some newer X-Men animated series...

It's pretty damn cool if you have nostalgia goggles on, and kinda ok if you don't.. the amount of multi episode story arcs in it really set it apart, almost everything is decent for the time except... THE MOTHERFUCKIN VOICE ACTING.
