Photographer Peter is over played and stayed it's welcome. I feel like teacher Peter hasn't been fully explored though.

I actually wouldn't be opposed to this idea, (except for the porn part). Making Miles Peter's student puts him in a sidekick position. I'm fundamentally against Miles, but if we are going to be stuck with him might as well do that. Hell, it could be interesting to see him teach Sam and Kamala too. Also, Bendis wouldn't be writing Peter, he'd just be doing some interactions with Peter here and there. Peter would still have his own adventures away from Miles.

Peter's probably overqualified for public school teaching now that he's a fucking billionaire. Having him teach at an inner city charter school or back at his old collage instead would be interesting in the hands of the right writer.

I fucking love that period in the characters life. I had been away from comics and anything marvel related for years by that point and when I came back and saw the character I liked as kid morph into a well meaning teacher, shit felt right to me.


Personally I felt so much more could have happened with him in that role, felt a bit underused by JMS and than it just disappeared all together.
