I wouldn't want a revival of Danny Phantom without Steve Marmel as one of the writers. He worked on the show during the first two seasons and his absence is one of the biggest reasons why the third season sucked so much.

Hartman is good when it comes to ideas, designing characters and premises, but when it comes down to the writing, the man fucks up constantly.

Steve Marmel is the Wanda to his Cosmo, a check on all the dumbness and silliness he tends to spew out, but by himself Marmel hasn't come up with anything nearly as brilliant as FOP or DP. These two need each other. Sadly, I think they just grew tired of each other.

There's two I managed to find without much problem. And yet, what do you know. That show still kept going to the end, even having a spinoff. Strange right? How could it be that a show would still continue on after something like that?

Executives and higher ups will continue with a show if it's profitable in some manner, and the only way they would stop due to something like this if it was a MASSIVE deal and people made it too much trouble to make the series go. One idiotic mans death won't do anything.
