Time for a storytime
Motor Girl
>War veteran Samantha's quiet life in the Nevada desert is turned upside down when a UFO crashes into her junkyard. Now with the assistance of her gorilla companion Mike, Sam tries to protect the little visitors from a military contractor.
It's by Terry Moore who did Rachel Rising, Echo, and Strangers in Paradise.
I've read it. It's a really really bad Tank Girl ripoff.
Moore is a genius but this is his inevitable fuck up moment. Still, do the storytime, I wanna compare how bad this is in relation to Echo and SIP.
>>93861590
It is thematically nothing similar to Tank Girl.
>>93861711
his priorities are completely in order.
>>93861543
I like this book, it's pretty comfy.
Any idea how many issues it's going for?
>>93862034
Hard to say. As many as Terry can get, I would day.
Or it may end prematurely like Rachel Rising did.
>>93862034
Rachel Rising was 30 issues I think but he quit because it wasn't selling very much because all his work is self published
>>93861590
Hey we all start somewher-Wait this is his newest?
>>93861966
>She crazy
Well, shit.
I don't really know what to think about Moore's work.
On one hand, his writing is pretty good and I like that he draws traditionally instead of digitally, but on the other one his characters tend to be rather cliche and 2-dimensional at most.
Also, I don't like how he writes male characters. Terry seems to write them as either generic stoic or abusive.

Earl was a really well written character in Rachel Rising
>>93861590
>tank girl rip off
Are you even reading this?
Crap, I went to the store and forgot to set up issue 7.
>>93863027
And that's it because I forgot to set up issue 7. Hope ya'll liked it
>>93863108
was p good
>>93863108
It is good but I am not convinced it has an ending.
>>93863148
That's cause it's only 6 issues in?
>>93863108
Thanks OP that some good reading
>>93863330
What I mean is that it doesn't feel like it is setting up a conclusion to what I assume is a Mini.
>>93863379
I don't think it was announced as a mini.
>>93863379
It's not a mini
>>93861743
>The Gorilla a PTSD hallucination
Well this got dark quick.
>>93861590
After reading what you wrote, and then the comic...
>>93863437
Then that's better.
>>93863632
Yeah, he always has long stories. Echo is one of the biggest omnibus on my shelf
Back, gonna finish issue 7
Now that's all there is so far.

ty for the story time fampai.
>>93863413
Yes it did Moore said 12 issues.
>>93867329
Where?
>>93864031
Buster exits the couch.
So is she fucking the gorilla?
>>93861543
thats a terrible cover for a no1 comic
>>93868226
No one is buying a Terry Moore comic that doesn't already know who he is.
>>93864114
This looks like its going to end depressingly.
Thanks for story time op.
>>93861543
Terry Moore is still going, eh?
Loved SiP. Bought all of Echo and I was kinda let down -- the ending was bad and it didn't resolve anything, the hero-characters didn't grow or learn anything substantial. I've seen a bit of Rachel Rising but didn't get into it because, well, burned by Echo.

> empty chair
> guy in chair
Uh-oh.
>>93861866
> "okay watch the hands"
> handprints.
I wonder....
I'm getting a serious Dale Gribble vibe out of Larry ....
>>93861590
Nothing like Tank Girl.
I'm linking this so far, a lot more character focused than others Terry Moore works.
>>93864114
Fuck that's just sad
