He didn't harm Laurie for two possible reasons:

1. Jon was active long before he started dating Laurie, plus it's implied that Jon's former friends all basically severed ties with Jon once he dumped his longtime girlfriend for Laurie.

Which made it easier for him to give them cancer, since Jon had nothing to do with them anymore and not suspect someone trying to kill them slowly in order to blame them. Had he done the same to Laurie, then Ozzy would have been more lightly to have been caught.

2. Ozzy didn't have to harm Laurie when his cancer plan hinged on scaring Jon to the point, that when he was accused of giving his friend cancer, that he would instinctively leave her out of fear that being near her would potentially be harming to her
