Shantae. Each stage from the games could be adapted to 1-2 episodes, with equal part character interaction, and action sequences in the dungeons.

Two problems though.
- this would be difficult to sell because it wouldn't be completely episodic, execs would hate it.
- it would need insanely good animation to do justice to the series, so it would be too high budget for a relatively unknown series. And if they go for tweening, it would look like ass.
