I've been re-reading the books, and I just wanted to say how cool Gwen's plan against the aliens was.

She decided to take the aliens out on her own. And she organized this complex plan to spread the police so thin, they can't stop her. And since the crimes are small enough for the police to handle, superheroes would likely not get involved.

This is my fave Gwen, the one where she comes up with good plans. I kind of wish she built up a team again, since she'd make a great leader.

Eddie wants to use the symbiote to do good. The symbiote doesn't really care and just wants to murder indiscriminately, hence why it amplifies its host's aggression, neuroses, etc. hence why Eddie has to keep moving before he hurts the wrong people.

Corrupted symbiote aren't lost causes. Yes they will always be homicidal to an extent but they are greatly influenced by Thier hosts as the host is also influenced by them.
Have a strong moral standing so will the symbiote even if corrupted. Venom when separated and rejected from Eddie tried to save an old janitor that took care of it while it was in containment and gave it doses of adrenaline extract. And it never even bonded with him.
