You now realize the reason Tony Stark put Happy Hogan in charge of watching over Peter was because Jon Favreau oversaw the Iron Man movie when it was first starting in the cinematic universe, so Happy's job is to do the same for Spider-Man

But Hulk was the one first starting the cinematic universe.

Originally it was supposed to be Spider-Man 2, but Fox and Sony threw a bitch fit over having Thomas Jane in the movie so they just shoe horned his stung double. Tobey Maguire was supposed to be in Incredible Hulk during the scene at the college, but same thing happened.
