The suit only absorbs hell energy so that he takes less damage. He himself is pretty much "the chosen one". Except in this case he is "doomed to forever walk hell and bringing ruin to demonkind". I just wanna contribute real quick to the DOOMSLAYER vs FLOOD argument. Though I think our beloved hero could totally clear a planet of the flood, he cant heal off of them. He heals when he kills demons because of the ardent energy that has been infused with their blood. Since the flood have never existed on the ardent plane, or hell after its incorporation, they would have no such energies. Same goes for most of the Rune powers like "enemies drop ammo" and whatnot. However, if he gets to bring some of his regular weps, he will be good. The 8 gauge shoty shells the UNSC uses would be turbogood in the combat shotgun, and im sure there is some 9mm wep the unsc uses to refil chaingun and pistol, though i cant think of one off the top of my head. if plasma only, can use the batteries of covie weps to charge his own plasma gun. The main thing is that flood is too big a problem for doomguy.

Well, there is psychic energy in the flood so it's possible it's compatible. But there are plenty of ways for Doomguy to heal without argent energy and there are plenty of weapons he can use that are not in his usual arsenal, provided as drops.

I'd imagine he'd be comparable to Master Chief out of his own universe, until he picks up momentum with weapons and ammo, then he might outstrip him.

Doomguy moves faster than a lion my Samus' armor is strong enough to walk through lava effortlessly. Not to mention her own speed booster/shine spark combo makes her run at mach speeds while making her totally invulnerable and capable of launching hundreds of feet in the air. Doomguys has a million weapons and is tough as shit but Samus can literally freeze him in place, turn into a ball to make her harder to hit, invincibly fly by spamming her screw attack, and survive 90% of Doomguy's munitions with minimal effort.
