Stan Lee hasn't notice what's been happening in comics since the early 90s. The movies are more of what he keeps up with and that's mostly because he's contracted to make a cameo in all of them.

He hates comics and cartoonists the only thing he's ever cared about is making money

He's been a professional hype man/"liaison" to Hollywood/TV networks since the 70s, anon. He doesn't give a hot damn about the comics.

1) He didn't make Marvel
2) Marvel has been in much, much more dire straits than this before

Even if he dies, he'll be back. Nobody stays dead in comics.
