A lot of vampire media makes the blood hunger a needless lust. It doesn't keep them alive, because they are already undead/immortal, but they are driven to want it and the thirst drives them crazy if they don't get it.

My biggest problem with her is that her costumes don't make a lot of sense if the time period is anything other than 17/18th century. Richter, Juste, Alucard and Dracula himself are great designs for their period. Hector even worked. But Trevor's Matrix look stands out for 1476 and her weird crimson sex poodle Simon is off-putting. Oh yes, they do stick out as anachronisms. But in-game, there's often been anachronistic enemies as well. I swear there's been cyborgs and mecha at some point. Even in this one clip from the upcoming series, there's actual light bulbs in a crypt and Alucard's coffin is part of some mechanical assembly that seems too advanced for the 1400s.
