>"What's that /co/? You didn't like the ending? Oh shit I'm sorry"
The episode of Jack being hunted/the side story of the wolf being torn apart made the entire season for me. Those first three episodes were a gift, the rest was just icing on the cake.
I'm not mad about the back half and I look forward to CN possibly giving Genndy more opportunities.

Sorry for what? Our daddy taught us not to be ashamed of our dreams. Especially ify they pump out such good four critically acclaimed seasons and all.

How much involvement did he have in the ending?
>>93561643
It's ok Genndy, I fucking love you. The very last scene was beautiful :'^)
>>93561643
>what's that Genndy? You're saying that no one can beat your "god tier" writing? Well hang onto your belt buckaroo!
>>93561643
The best way to salvage the ending would be to have a post credits scene where Ashi and her family still exists in the future under much, much, much better circumstances.

But multiverse theory doesn't apply!

I liked those to, but the rest of the season still was pretty inconsistent and mediocre

A-ASHI I LOOOOVE YOU
I liked it

Came here to post this.Sorry fer what?...
>>93561681
I agree, the first 3 episodes were some of the best of the series and the the back half was the icing on the cake.In that I fucking hate frosting/Icing.

Apparently it was supposed to be a movie format, so things got a bit mixed up in the process of extending it into 10 episodes.
>>93562636
Thats not multiverse, multiverse would have meant she wouldn't disappear.
>>93562934
Of course you would do that. The frosting is part of the cake, and if it tastes like shit, then it ruins the good flavors buried underneath it.
"frosting" that doesn't involve retconning the series can just be scraped off and the rest of the cake enjoyed, but this one taints the whole product.
