Are the people here who like the MCU even well versed in Marvel comics?
no only DC
I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I know somethings, why do you ask?
I am to a point. Eventually reading Marvel comics becomes a chore because of the shit quality and watching a new film every few months is a lot more enjoyable.

Yes but I'm not an autistic fuckwit who drowns in spaghetti every time they take liberties. Which I assume is the point you're getting at.

he's just a "not muh" fag
"not muh" when they change something he doesn't like
"it was a good idea" when they use organic web shooters
"not muh" to Leto's Joker, "I liked it" to Ledger's Joker
etc
I gave up keeping up with Marvel around 2008 except some broadest of strokes. Up to 2008 I read or looked up Marvel output and continuity religiously.
Amazing how current MCU as "bland" as it can be is the escape to the Marvel I liked, away from NuMarvel.

I used to keep up with quite a few titles, but I slowly lost interest after they kept doing event after event. I've only read it sporadically since House of M.

I've followed Marvel pretty closely from 2005-present, diving back into older stories to read some of the good stuff I missed.
The MCU is far better on average. It isn't bad just because it's different, many of the changes are improvements.
Buddy, Marvel fags will take what they can get these days looking at the state of their comics

Nobody but me knows everything. Regular marvel fans pretend to know stuff.
