I think it's the best we've gotten so far, though ASM2's was fantastic. The eyes are perfect and no weird raised webbing pattern.

Yeah, that's fair enough. Though it never really made sense for Aunt may to be old enough to be Peter's grandma or great-grandmother, so I kinda like seeing an actress who could actually believable have a nephew Peter's age. Tomei is adorable too, but in a sexy way. It's definitely different from what we're used to, though so that criticism is totally valid.

I'm fine with all of this.

This is the sixth fucking SPider-Man movie in 15 years. Sixth. That's one less then every three years, we've seen the origin story twice, I've seen a trilogy about Mary Jane and two about Gwen and three different Green Goblins.

I'll take whatever differences I can get. if you wanna make the lobby boy from Grand Budapest into an internet shitposter and give Pete a black waifu and make Iron Man into a father figure, at least it's something new because god dammit I'm getting tired of the same shit for this character over and over.

I love the character, but I have my limits on how much repeated content I can watch of him. I'm not crazy about this being High-School Pete again, but at least it's actually going to be about him in school and have some teen drama instead of pulling a Raimi/Webb and hiving both versions have one foot out the door of school so you don't have to focus on it.

I'll take any differences I can get. I've gotten to the point where I really don't care about comic book accuracy when it comes to Pete, I just want something different from the other five fucking movies I've seen.

It's heartfelt, it's funny, it makes you feel for the characters. You can tell it's made for fans BY fans, Tom Holland is the Peter Parker/Spidey everyone was waiting for (I have never seen such a perfect portrayal and grasp of the character) and can empathise with. You'll laugh, you'll cry, but most importantly you're gonna come out of the movies knowing that you've watched something really, really good. Catch if you can, it's not your standard superhero movie at all and you won't regret it one bit.

Best Vulture was Stern Vulture, where he was a criminal in order to prove to himself that he was still valid in a world changing around him. I don't think any other writer ever nailed Toomes like Stern did. Even Stern cited that he was a perfect enemy for Peter.
