I tried when I was 13. It was a run of the mill VG webcomic, but I wanted more. This ended up lasting 3 comics.
>>
When I was like 9 or 10 I wrote my own sonic comics based on levels from Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
Yeah they were bad but somehow I actually sold one for 25 cents
>>
>>93515106
It was a boring Animorphs ripoff that I was very proud of.
>>
>>93515106
I wrote a comic when I was eight or nine about ninjas called Sour Cream and Onion, which was a tub of Sour Cream and an onion. IF I remember correctly the first two issues were the origin story, the next two were them fighting Celery, their old master, and the last issue was them fighting Orginal Potato Chip's army of cloned Blandos. At the end of that, they merged forms with one of the Blandos and I made it all misty or something as a cliff hanger and never returned to it.

Which I find funny because I never actually read comic books when I was a kid, I just decided to make them. Don't ask if I still have them because I don't, I made them while Iw as living in a hotel with my mom, this was when we were so poor I would make paper dolls of Digimon to play with.
>>
>>93515385
They're making an official Animorphs graphic novel series. I just finished a full series reread, so I'm pretty hyped
>>
some weird cat rodent thing with massive eyes and lips and no nose and his limbs were like fucking points or some shit and everybody in the comic had about the same design.
it was basically great.
I made an entire strip of him fucking his girlfriend in various locations and the other characters getting annoyed.

I had 3 shitty comics made when I was a kid

>The first one was about a comic about my OC character and other characters fighting in some kind of tournament thingy, in the end they all fused but got beaten by a samurai in the last panels

I ended up throwing that one out of shame and because my mom was already going to anyway

>The second one was about introducing my OC characters that were all cats, it took place in an alternate universe where cats where the dominant species instead of humans (who didn't exist), each character's introduction started with them being left in the river as a baby (that was the normal thing to do in their world) and something happening to them that gave them powers or gave them their motivations somehow

>The third one was about all these characters in an actual story, I never finished it after reaching the "climax" of the story

I still have the last 2

I did. All the characters were stickmen. It was about two guys constantly fighting each other (heavily inspired by xiao xiao), later I came up with a headcanon similar to something you'd see in an MGS game, but never really put it on paper.

Then I also made some comics about me and my friends going on adventures. They were filled with spelling mistakes and cring-inducing humour inspired by various flash animations I used to watch on youtube.

When I was in primary school there was a book series they made us read in class called Too Cool.
It was about a kid who was great at every sport.
I used to make parody comics of the series called To Cool about a kid who'd constantly get into accidents doing sports, like falling off his bike doing a jump.
I'd draw each comic on a single piece of paper and the teacher let me photocopy it and hand it out to the class.
People loved it. Mainly because everyone thought the books were stupid and enjoyed seeing the character get hurt in various ways.

When I was in middle school, I made these stick figure comics about this guy and his dog going on wacky adventures. It was inspired by Wallace and Gromit and Eddsworld. The first issue was created just so I could make this one autistic kid in our special ed class who wouldn't shut the fuck up the bad guy (He was a dog catcher).

I made 2 issues and I still have them somewhere. Should I storytime them?

I mean from what i remember the Museum was kinda like the House of Mystery/TARDIS (I was really into Doctor Who back then) it would appear in someplace random, Curious People would go in, Sometimes giving the protag a case for him to go investagate

The Protag had a ghost-sidekick who knew more about magic and stuff and was basically teaching him (eventually she "Passes' on to a better place leaving the protag without any help)

Villains Ranged from Arch typical Dark Mages to a Alt-Dimenson Hitler from a World where he had cartoonishly evil plans that he would do and was trapped in the main-universe where the only reason he was considered a threat was because he had this Neo-Nazi Superman like guy worshiping him and doing his bidding

I wrote countless. I forgot what most of them were about, but I at least didn't forget the characters.

My favorite non-Superhero series that I wrote is a comedy filled with meta-jokes, pop culture references, toilet humor, dark humor, and loads of other crap. I made 3 volumes in total, and the first one is the best, in my opinion.

It's about 4 brothers, a mohawk guy with the most sanity and intelligence, a blonde dude who is the only that can drive and is pretty absent-minded, an American football player who is dumb and sucks at American football, and a hyperactive crazy guy.

eventually i made my own character in the tg war setting
i drew a short comic with him in it.
unfortunately i dont have it. if i did id post it
i burned it in middle school. even then i didnt understand why everyone got uncomfortable, and why my mom at one point directly asked if i was trans, but i knew it was something people dissaproved of and it had to be destroyed.

My first webcomic was going to be a ripoff of both Homestar Runner and a game I played on Newgrounds. It never got off the ground because I was, like, 12.

My second webcomic was going to be all about my friends in junior high. That ALSO never went anywhere, though I put more effort into it than the other one.

I never scanned any of them, so I think at some point they ended up in my basement and eventually thrown out when cleaning it out. In fact, all I do have that I ever scanned is my old video game idea, an adaptation of Dante's Divine Comedy which I stopped working on after EA made their "Dante's Inferno" game. You know, the God of War ripoff?
>>
>>93515106
Yeah, I wrote a comic in middle school about Duke Nukem''s hippy younger brother named Duke Savem.
He started off as a dumb hippy but eventually it devolved into a power level fighting comic anime trope fest because me and my fellow middle school friends were into DBZ at the time.
Usually it was him and his friend Z-Man getting into fights over stupid bullshit and destroying the whole school or world. Eventually this guy called Death Kid showed up and they had to fight him.
Then later on these negaverse versions of them came to the school and they fought them too.
The last one we did was Duke Savem and his friends competing for some slutty reqlity star chick, ala Tila Tequila except I think her name was Lucy Liquor or something. It was dumb, but I still have them laying around somewhere.

A lengthy series of lego "star wars" comics that only had the names and looks of characters and a bunch of stuff from the lego catalogues but was otherwise original sci-fi. The protagonist was basically a jedi homer simpson, horribly incompetent but always successful and never sure why. It mostly followed a villain-of-the-week format I saw in cartoons. Lots of crazy, crappy and original baddies, such as a green slime skeleton with a cape and a red lightsaber. Also, there was quite a lot of violence, even the comic I drew when I was 7 had a guy get decapitated and blood splurting everywhere. God I loved drawing those comics.

I kept making comics for the "series" for about six or seven years, slowly improving over time and refining the story. Then my life started going to shit and I stopped drawing altogether. I still have the drawings in a folder somewhere.

Very animu rom com about a stalker trying to get his girl.
He was just misunderstood.

The characters were originally furries before I even knew what furries were, I just wanted to slap animal ears on them. Then at some point I got a vague notion of what a furry was, then felt it was incredibly cringy to make them animal people.
I was like 14.
I still love the characters to death though, they were my first OC's. Sometimes I think about going back to the idea but making it less childish, but I know the scenario as a whole was kinda shit and would likely never be anything good. I like cliche things.
I'm also a terrible artist lol.

I still dream about doing a webcomic one day though, but I for the life of me cannot understand photoshop no matter how many times I've tried to learn and def can't afford it. I also don't know how to pirate safely, I'm bad with computers. I bricked my last one with a Trojan trying to pirate some anime.
>>
>>93522236
Oh shit, actually I totally repressed my very first comic.
The summer between 4th and 5th grade I only had 2 friends that lived in my neighborhood, the one went to summer camp and the other went to her dad's house for the summer, and my parents refused to ever get off their ass and drive me anywhere so I had no way of seeing any of my other friends.
I was so bored and lonely I made a stick figure comic called "The adventures of bob"
It was just a bunch of slapstick bullshit that only a 10 year old would find funny. The punchline was almost always him getting blown up. It got up to like, 500 pages. I think I still have it.
At some point it became almost biographical, I had a self insert stick figure and I would bitch about things like my parents forcing me to do times tables even though it was summer and I totally shouldn't have to do any school work! >:(
It was bad lol
>>
>>93522138
Maybe, it's in my native language though and the handwriting is probably bad in the older ones. Not sure if even I can read it and translate it.

Also if I remember right I refused to make stories last more than one page at some point so I fit 80 or so comic panels on one page. It's not particularly readable. Soon after I gave in, thankfully, and drew proper large panels.

I once had a comic named "Portal Jumper" back in elementary school. It was about a boy who used to shovel manure for a living, but stole a set of ancient, magical armor and a sword that had a gem that, when pressed, allowed him to travel to different dimensions and meet alternate reality versions of himself. one of these was "Blade", who was a masked, edgy version of PJ who could transform into a sword. He ended up tagging along with PJ, but eventually turned against him.Their HQ was a shitty, run down, abandoned apartment complex. at one point, the main villain was a demonic cyborg-man named "Pootsnarfle" who was literally so small he didn't even pose a threat, he just talked shit.

When I was 13 my doofy friend and I made a whole series of stick figure comics about our original characters fighting zombies and mercenaries alongside characters like Jason Voorhees and Darth Maul. It was a slapstick action comedy strip that took up about one sheet of notebook paper per issue. We would make them during one day of school and give it to the other, who would read it and respond the next day. They had a television show theme that became a running gag for unused page space, like commercial breaks and channel surfing. I did write comics quite a lot when I was young, but they were more newspaper strip styled. It was mostly bizzare attempts at slice of life comedy and odd 4th wall breaking, starring my Neopets, and various other characters I made up.

As a fun project, I've actually been re-drawing my old characters in my current artstyle, after I've had a decade to improve my skills.

Oh shit, I just remembered! Back in my freshman year of high school, I wrote another comic for an assignment! We were reading The Odyssey, and I had to use my comics to summarize the plot. Most comics I made were about my own characters, they were these 3 best friends who were anthropomorphic cats, they had wacky misadventures... Yeah, it's about as uninteresting and shitty as it sounds.
But I've been retooling the idea over the years and want to make a TV series rather than a comic out of it...

Other dumb comics I made were about stuff I liked, such as SpongeBob, Ed Edd n Eddy and Phineas and Ferb...

I know I used to but I can't remember what of.

I did draw big A3-size landscapes of stick men battles. There were tunnels, tanks, aircraft etc one I remember fondly was an aircraft carrier assault on an island. I'd trade them with friends for sweets and stuff like that.

Friends in elementary school made Dragon Ball Z-esque comics and both of them released about 3 chapters ranging from 10 to 30 pages and then the two of them worked together on a final chapter before the other moved to a different school.
>tfw all your art friends stop drawing and you're the last one left

When I was like 9 or 10 I used to do comics potraying the dogs that were in my hood like characters of mortal kombat, they dogs used to get in these silly fights for like, you know, silly shit, that always finished in one or all of them getting killed by some stage fatality or regular fatality.

I remember too doing these newspaper based off my class that incluided fads and stupid shit that happend in a week, altought I don't consider this comic.

When I was about 10-11 I read this Russian folk tale with some guy Ivan killing some dragons to save a princess. Since I was really into dragons at the time, I wrote a self-insert comic in which the dragon won and ate Ivan and the princess.

I lost it a long time ago, though.

I made OCs that were these different dragons that all had elemental powers.
I wanted to make the cast as big as possible so I would come up with stupid variations.
Then I would "assign" my friends a dragon.
I never did anything with them.
I remember some were:
>fire
>water
>air
>rock
>ice
>lava
>gasoline
>lightning
>invisible
>intangible
>plant

>gasoline dragon
i'm just imagining how weird it would be to be stuck with a dragon that spits gasoline everywhere as its elemental power or something

I wrote a comic called "Elementors". It was a group of youths who could capture and harness animate elemental spirits like pokemon, because their was an evil wizard hoping to twist them into a force of darkness to set upon the world.

My brother, who wanted to be the "creative one" in the family, called it nothing more than a creatively bankrupt exercise that sounded like an excuse to market merchandise. So he drew a series of pictures that made my characters look like cheap action figures, and then drew a can of budweiser with what was nothing more than a half peeling piece of duct tape with "Elementors Cola" scribbled on it.

Come to think of it, my brother ironically drove me to 4chan where I do the same things to other people these days.

Your brother sounds like an asshole.

He'd fit right in here.

>SmackJeeves Multi-Author Sonic Hotel Comic
>Literally all recolors. Who has time to edit an entire fucking sprite sheet, amirite?
>Pokemon were allowed, too, because seriously who the fuck cares
>One author kept trying to make himself the OP hero, his strips were so derailed that they took place in locations that were never established and no other author took them as canon
>The creator tried to start a plot but everyone already gave up by then
Thank fuck those were around during a time where having your past brought up wasn't a thing. I'd have to make a new identity if someone found out about those

I wrote two. The first was about an evil genius and his attempts to rule the world.
The second was about FatMan, a fat guy who could shoot fat from his hands. He battled the evil genius and eventually they both went super saiyan 1 -10.
I stopped in late middle school.

In 8th grade I had multiple series about various stick men all set in the same universe that would occasionally crossover. Most of them were named "something" man (Ones that come to mind are Pyro man and Criminal man). Pyroman was about a guy who killed cartoon characters with a grill lighter (because I was in my "cartoons are for babies and anime is superior" phase), and Criminal man was a guy who did all the crimes, rape, robbery, murder and whatever else my edgey 8th grade self could think of. I still have all of the comics somewhere, I've actually posted a page of Pyro man here a year ago in a similar thread. I don't recall how many series there were or how many issues of each series I made, but I remember that Pyroman had the most. Then there was my wildly autistic comic called "My Dream Life" about me living with my favorite anime characters in a boarding house that was so random ecks dee!!1!1 It's made even more autistic by the fact that some time later I remade it as sprite comic and actually had a website for it. It wasn't a real website, but one of those sketchy free website hosting deals that had little customization. I don't think the site exists anymore but like the stick men comics I still have most of them (I think) but they are on a laptop that doesn't turn on anymore.

There was that one guy in 5th grade who could draw really fucking well. He made his own scooby doo comics which were often unfinished, but also pretty cool. He kinda inspired me to attend art school, disappoint my parents and ruin my life completely.
