BUTLER DID IT STORYTIME

How delightfully diverse
>>93507456
The movie was comedy kino, this seems to be more "serious".
>>93507523
>Knows the cure to the common cold
Let's ignore how stupid this is and instead focus on the fact that toxicologists deal with POISON, not viruses.
>>93507534
Funny how in the original British version Green is a reverend, but the American edition and all adaptations changed that. I guess Americans can't handle a priest being a murderer or something.
>>93507585
>Without the drug research I fund, how many would die?
Nobody, because somebody else would take your place and the funding would continue, that's how the free market works.
>>93507585
Holy shit this writing is abysmal
I'm not sure what I was expecting. But this sure as hell wasn't it.
>>93507456
This looks like it has potential, but IDW took a hard swing in the direction of "webcomic inspired crap aimed at hipsters" last year and they haven't gone back since. Like half of their books are now the sort of trash that Image or BOOM would put out. So I'm hesitant to read anything by them nowadays.

>>93507513
Why is senator WHITE a black woman?
>>93507479
Doc Orchid is cute! CUTE!

>What is Saucer State
>What is Starstruck
>>93507624
Was it suicide, right?
So who did it and why was it the toxic white pharmaceutical bro
>>93507551
Fun Fact:
"A. Boddy" in this comic is in fact voiced by Keith David
>>93507736
so,I guess I need to read the printed version for the second clue and... what else?
>>93507544
Honestly, as a longtime fan of the franchise I like what they did with some of the backstories. Really dig White being updated as the CEO of a cleaning company. And let's be honest Plum as an Indian dude makes a lot of sense.
Also glad they went with book-verse money hungry Green vs pansy Rev. Green.
>>93509661
Wasn't Plum changed into a chick in one of the latest versions? I saw it at the shops, and noticed they changed some of the characters around
>>93509802
They made all new characters for Clue FX. They're all pretty terrible and actually pretty un-PC for some of them. The purple piece is Lady Lavender who is basically Dr. Orchid mixed with this version of Mr. Green.
Prince Azure, the first black male canon to the board games, is a stereotypical Nigerian prince scammer complete with goofy costume.
>>93507570
Why is the woman that knows the cure to the common cold but is not sharing it acting all holier than thou? It's like she's a Wakandan or something.
If the butler's last name isn't O'Good, I'm dropping this.
>>93509851
I haven't seen it at the shops. Pretty certain these are the characters on the latest version I've seen
>>93510236
Terrible. Though Reverend Green looks like Mr. Boddy from the movie. I wonder if they made a tie in version?
>>93510236
Yeah, Clue FX tanked pretty hard. In the new versions Mrs. White is referred to as Dr. Orchid's nanny (perhaps referencing her earliest version of Nurse White) but isn't present.
>>93509135
suicide to get away from the shitty characters (except the butler).
>>93507575
No, I think it's trying to be funny. Trying being the key word.
I keep thinking about reading this, but then I think "Is it going to be as good as the movie?" and can't bring myself to do it.
