ITT: Writers who have never made a good comic.
Starting with Humphries.
Green Lanterns has been enjoyable so far.
Bendis
>>93503377
His Daredevil run was pretty good.
>>93503377
Objectively
Ultimate Spider-man until Death of Spider-man
Daredevil
Alias and its sequel
kill yourself
>>93503601
The only Fantastic Four comic I've read and enjoyed was by Bendis.
>>93502951
Kate Leth
>>93503601
>Alias
I thought this meme was outdated on /co/?
>>93503601
I didn't like any of those.
Ultimate Spider-Man is overrated as fuck, by the way. Any scene that isn't Spidey quips is horribly handled.
Chuck Austen
>>93503620
Go read the original run then, newfag.
>>93503685
Which original run? The actual first FF comics? Cuz how am I going to do that? Like really?
>>93503747
Bykilling yourself.
>>93503809
goteeem
>>93502951
DO NOT SPEAK ILL OF THE DOGMONGLER.
Geoff Johns
>>93503601
>Alias and its sequel
I hope you mean The pulse (and even that's stretching it) and not the current series.
>>93503837
bruh I get not liking GL, but how can you not like his Flash run?
>>93503868
>muhhh villains
he doesn't even like the Flash
>>93503601
Only Datedevil was good.
USM was decent but going back the dialogue is awful and the villains are forgettable and boring, and towards the end he fucked it up.
Alias wasn't that good.
>>93502951
Dennis hopeless, how that fuckyard ever got AA off the ground is beyond me
>>93503377
Ult. Spider-Man was good up until the death of Spider-Man also apparently his other street stuff is good though I've never read it
>>93503882
thanks for proving you haven't even read it
>>93503837
>his Aquaman
>his Shazam
>Forever Evil
>JSA
>Hawkman
>flash
>GL
>Batman Earth One
>Countdown to IC and infinite crisis itself
>booster gold
>52
>superman
How is it possible to dislike all of these
>>93503956
because none of those were my first books
>>93502951
I think you're a year too late, OP.
>>93503956
It is possible. Tasteless people exist after all.
>>93503973
>some of those being enjoyable as a first book
top kek you almost had me
>>93503988
>tfw Didio and co will never Rebirth your hair and career.
>>93503888
>>93503675
>>93503651
not my fault you guys suck dick and have shit taste
>>93503854
yes
fuck Jessica Jones' current book
modern bendis is awful but classic bendis is great
>>93503988
>can't still write for shit
a hack working by any other name would smell as shit
>>93503675
the most boring Spider-Man series I've ever read
Gabby Rivera esse.
>>93503681
Man of Steel 129
Superman: Metropolis
the Flash issue of JLA
first War Machine mini
his Captain America was badass fun
nothing was wrong with his Avengers
also drew issue of Moore's Miracleman
Nobody ITT knows the difference between someone that's past their prime and someone that never had a prime.
For instance, Bendis is a hack now but had some great comics back in the day.
Whereas Jeff Lemire is the the definition of journeyman comic book writer. His work is defined entirely by how well the art props up his mediocre writing.
>>93504374
...what is Sweet Tooth
>>93504339
Except he has better editors and Johns himself sat down with him apparently. I also want to say this is why Vendetti got better.
>>93503377
His punisher run
>>93504367
>nothing was wrong with his Avengers
After Johns had Pym and Janet split up in good terms, forgetting the drama of the past, he went an reintroduced it right back, not only that, he made it sound like Pym abusive behavior was something continuous through time and not one violent episode of a man having a breakdown.
I can only imagine what would've happened if he had been given the chance to continue.
>>93504556
>Pymfags
who cares? it was fun
Steve/Clint banter, British kids, action!
>>93503681
my Austen theory is everyone was really freaking out how bad Claremont's X-Treme was and couldn't comprehend wtf Morrison was smoking on New X-Men so X-fags took out their anger on the only innocent person in the situation, the man asked to clean up Casey's drugged up mess
DC asked him to write under another name because retailers were so undeservedly butthurt
>>93504362
This, and Kate Leth, andwithout Alex Ross carrying his ass Mark Waid
>>93504311
>USMfags accusing anyone of shit taste
Lel
>>93504339
Seriously, his Green lanterns is very good so far
>>93502951
>Starting with Humphries
Higher Earth was good.
>>93504374
Lemiere work on Image and Valiant has been pretty solid for the most part, and Sweet Tooth and Essex County were great
Even is we restrict it to only big two comics he still has his Animal Man run.
