Like, sometimes it almost feels as if certain corners of fandoms are competing to who can interpret a character the ugliest way. Is it for woke points? When I read his manifesto, it became very clear that he never made any sort of move towards bettering his social status himself. He acted like an arrogant asshole and talks about how he considers himself to be divine (yes), but his desperate attempts to make social contacts seemed to consist of literally just leaving the house and being in a public space, and hoping that someone else would do all the social work and come befriend him or hit on him or something. Then when this didn't happen, he just became increasingly bitter at the unfairness of it all.
