good lord.....This is pretty easy to explain. The budget didnt support their creation. The competition got much much wider and the central idea of a saturday morning block died out. Its like how johnny carson used to be THE late night talk show host. We still have saturday morning cartoons, just not a curated time slot and dedicated creation for such slots. Curation in general has died for TV, let alone for kids.
