Would you remake Alice In Wonderland in animation since the live

Svankmajer's Alice is perfect, no other version is need.

I'd be into an American McGee's Alice animated adaptation, but the story's already been adapted and readapted so many times that it's almost quaint to have a traditional interpretation of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass at this point. Either that, or make a version so steeped in symbolism that the Alice allusion is almost impenetrable.

Why would you want an animated adaptation of a game, that works perfectly fine as a game? Why adapt everything under the sun? Why can's a nice thing be left alone?

The game's a little too slow-paced to age gracefully, and I thought the character designs were too stylish to be left in 2000-era polygons. It's not like I'm dying to see it, but out of most every interpretation of Alice I thought McGee's would be interesting to see re-adapted in animation.

A remake directed by the creator, I would welcome with open arms. But trading a game for a cartoon?
