Nah, DC will just ape the MCU for a quick buck. After the JL movie it will be impossible to differentiate between DCEU and MCU. If there is a bubble the bubble will burst for both of them.

The only one who will survive will be the Fox-men. Because they already survived a generational change, a retconned timeline and its own convoluted continuity. Fox will continue with its cheap budget yet constant 500-600m movies.

I dont see the MCU being too popular after Iron-man and Cap leave for good. It will be a hard blow. They will panic at the generational change, that plus the bubble will be terrible for the MCU. Which will still make money, but not that much.

You know what this feels like? This feels like CW Spider-Man where they don't have the budget for the bigger villains or accurate supporting cast.

Marvel get access to Spider-Man, Sony gets access to RDJ Iron Man to help boost their profits.

If they wanted Venom to be part of the MCU, I'm sure Sony could go to them and get it done. But then they'd lose out on some money.

Naturally Sony, being a living parody of out-of-touch studios, stepped up to the plate.

Hell, you'd think after their last attempt to make a cinematic universe crashed and burned so hard they'd learn their lesson. But nope, here they are trying the same thing except this time without Spider-man.

I really dont see the point of this or what Sony expects to gain from it. Its just plain stupid all around. Frankly Id rather take a break from the symbiote and Goblin altogether and get the Sinister Six rolling. Sony just seems like a bratty kid trying to get attention

Unless they wanted to make a super power version of Halloween idk how that would work, Venom, regardless of how dumb I think this movie seems, does have much more to his character, Carnage basically exists to be the pure evil that both Spider-Man and Venom can mutually hate
