I loved the look of it? I loved the vibrant, even violent color scheme. The expressions were great. Ren Seeks Help especially had a lot of brilliant shots.

It just got caught halfway between being a silly kids show and being a shock show for adults and ended up just being a piece of shit. The comic timing was especially bad, but even the non-grossout gags were just weird. Like the fish heads in Stimpy's Pregnant.

I'm actually a lot softer on it then anyone else I know of and I can appreciate underrated qualities of it, but I certainly don't enjoy it. Except for Onward And Upward. That one wasn't THAT gross. Altruists is half good but half boring as shit which, considering its length, is not good.

I only enjoyed it for being one of the last few technically good things John worked on before he decided to abuse the tweening feature like many of his Canadian contemporaries. It also brought the beginning of many talented animators'careers. Plot and humor wise, it ain't that great.

I can't read 'Adult Party Cartoon' without hearing it in MrAutism's voice
