>google "X season y release date"
>results are articles saying "X season Y release date, trailers, etc"
>click on one
>ctrl+f "release"
>no release date yet
why is nobody being punished for this click-bait?
it's everywhere
lying is not illegal? don't trust something just because it's on the internet?

False advertisement is
Season 3 won't be out for another year or two, idiot
Google's algorithm is fucked, they need to update it to deal with this sort of clickbait.

It's coming out like next month

Google now only cares about directing users to the nearest advertiser, it's no longer a user focused model
As long as you are seeing someone who paid Google money it's working as intended

That's not what false advertisement is though. You're not actually buying anything either way.

Pretty much this. Advertisers don't care what the product is if you can get a lot of peoples eyes on it (and as long as it's not anti gay or feminist or minority since those are the groups that raise a ruckus).
Fake news about release dates doesn't step on any minority shoes so it's all good
