Not really. The idea actually came from an interview with Gail Simone and some of my own ideas regarding Tim Drake and Steph.

Tim, I never saw as being a 'full time' hero. I always thought that he would be a normal person first and a superhero second. Him being a detective just seemed like a logical choice.

Cass probably wouldn't have that much of a life outside her vigilante work. I always thought she would throw herself into her work, forsaking her identity outside the mask.

Steph also just seemed like when she grew up, she'd be this sorta party girl. I assumed her father also had some money tucked away for her, which she decided to use for good.

The main idea is that the three, due to their different choices are apart. This divide between them has caused various problems in each of their lives. Now, when something comes in which threatens all of them, the three come together again, in more ways then one.
