Well seems like they're getting closer to a conclusion with homeworld and once that is done, the majority of the fans might feel finished with the series. I mean what else would there be except pure episodic towny shit or overstretching the current arc if they make more seasons? They could create a bigger plot process beyond homeworld but at the pace they pull the show it wouldn't be worth the bother. Best to let shows conclude instead of growing stale, and it'll only be worse with all the fucking hiatuses they give this show.

Yes, it's getting a sixth season. It's the highest rated show on Cartoon Network and merch sales are still excellent. It recently went up against the Loud House special and had its highest rated episode in months despite the fierce competition.

Not him, but it's still the 2nd/3rd best rated show on CN when it's on normally (i.e. not 4 episodes that show up and then are never shown again after 5 days of advertising) behind TTG and occasionally Adventure Time.

It fills a nice niche that isn't filled by other shows, where it's too serial for regular CN and too soft for Adult Swim, but it does grab those viewing numbers of those in between.
