this has been my headcannon for some time. Not necessarily the orks, but some other conflict is going on.

the Gem Empire seems to be in critical need of resources. which doesn't make much sense when you consider Gems only need sunlight to survive once they are born. Even then the amount of light needed can't be that much. since the Ruby Squad survived just fine in space.

Yellow Diamond seems in great need for the Geoweapon(the cluster).

There was a alien race in the 29th century that felt time travel was just the same as warp drive. that anyone should be able to use it to do what ever they please. that it was their destiny to use time travel to make a better universe for themselves.
