This movie was so good until he got to prison, then it got weird, then it became such a convoluted mess you'd expect Xorn to show up.

He should've went to prison and not change but have some threat come in and he kind of tries to do better. Have him still be reckless but have the people still be grateful that he saved the day.

Fuck this movie had a lot of potential.

Exactly, I loved the drunken bum Superman angle and having him reform a little while still being a jerk would be a great way to end it. But the movie got all sappy and then all of a sudden the wife is also super powered and there's some weird chemistry with them being near each other.

I feel like this was a movie that needed a test audience.

Wonder Woman's close up fighting was a lot better than I expected it to be but when they tried to show off her powers it looked so goddamn goofy
