They should just do 80 page or full graphic novel releases with elseworlds.

Maxis honestly have no place in the market at this point. Publish some legitimate "graphic novels" and it will save them from compressing or decompressing to fit a number. Plus for the normies it keeps things completely separate, "these titles are 'canon' and these titles are 'not canon'". Also opens up book stores for day one releases.
