Got a question for you /co/, I'm not really much of a comic book guy but I'm considering buying some red sonja stuff because I like the conan universe and I'm in the mood for lady barbarians/amazons. Maybe it's because I saw WW the other day but I digress.
Is it worth reading? What's the best place to start? I saw something called the Red Sonja Omnibus on amazon, is that a collection of the comics? There doesn't really seem to be much info on what's in the different books/volumes/etc. If you could help point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.
If it's not worth the time, are there any other comics about female barbarians or amazons kicking ass and taking names? Not wonderwoman, I'm more looking for fantasy than superhero.

Looks like nobody is around. Check out Axa,Marada The She Wolf, Cave Woman,Sheena, Jungle Girl.Also the female R.E.H heroes have comics in his collections from dark horse. Also red conan for, Belit The Queen of the Black Coast, Red Sonja, Valeria or the Red Brother Hood, Zenobia, and countless others. If I can think of more I'll post about them later. This shoud be enough to get you started.
