Younger Batman is exactly what I was looking for personally (the dark Batman in most adaptations is unrelatable, while the Bruce scenes in this one were cool and interesting). Same with Joker (this is the only version I know of who is unpredictably comedic vs. terrifying).

The big heads thing is in pretty much every cartoon I can think of.
