I never understood the hate for her. She and the Punisher were some of the few reasons I put up with Season 2.

It was amazing when she killed that dude. I'm sick to death of scenes where a hostage manages to take a gun and turn it on the villain, but the villain just calmly responds "lol do it faggot, you don't have the balls to shoot me", and the hostage indeed hesitates, until the gun is taken from them. So I was pleasantly surprised when she actually did it.

Wesley was an organized criminal who threatened innocent people with arranged murder, specifically the cop's daughter as well as all of Karen's friends and family. On top of that, he was part of a crime syndicate that dealt in human sex trafficking, child abduction, murder, blackmail, protection racketeering, etc.

Karen had every right to shoot him, especially since he abducted her and was threatening her. It only helps that he was stupid enough to leave the gun on the table the way he did. Hell, even if he didn't threaten Karen, I'd shoot him just on principle. The man was a monster and deserved to die.
