George and Harold do the pranks they do to cheer up the other students, as opposed to just only for their own amusement and even catching other students in their pranks.

They focus on Krupp's reason for being unhappy and miserable being he's lonely. George and Harold even try to fix him on a date with the lunch lady to help him out, and it does soften him a little bit.

I wonder if Dav didn't like the idea of Ben being more sympathetic?
