>I know what you’re thinking. Has it come to this? Is there no hope for the hundreds of classic theatricals (not to mention the Tex Avery’s) still not restored and released on disc? I promise to make it up to you this fall. SHHH-H-H-H! I’m working with Warner Archives now on a special “classic cartoon” collection that will be announced very soon. And hopefully it will be the first of many more…
More Looney Tunes will be getting DVD/BD releases soon, thoughts?

Nice, I guess.

I know.
I really hope it's MGM stuff, because outside of some Tom and Jerry DVDs, there have been very few dedicated collections of MGM cartoons, even most of Tex Averys MGM stuff isn't on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Beck did bring up Tex Avery, complete Tex Avery is needed.
There is a complete chronological torrent out there

That uses PAL broadcast prints and are edited and have DVRN damage, also 2 of the cartoons are not on that set.
We're talking about remaster 35MM film stock and releasing the cartoons uncut.

Good luck with that, if it happened i'd buy it in a second.

It's LaserDisc release however is uncut with the 2 missing cartoons and has been released in North America but is going up in price, still under $100 average however.
