I really want to like Ronaldo but his refusal to ever develop as a character in a meaningful way is irritating. Lars had the same problem, but it wasn't as bad, and he also had a more relatable and compelling character arc. I can only think of like... But that's kind of me point, why DONT they know? I never really got the "gems can't human" trope this show goes for some times. They're a highly advanced race of meta-rock people who've been around probably forever, possibly before humans, I just think it's weird that, even if they didnt care, they didn't pick up on anything. Garnet can't even pick up on basic fucking social cues. Or for a more recent example the "mydad" thing.
