Last time someone attempted a Captain Underpants thread I began doing some tidbits about how some jokes were adapted in Italian and how some translations were changed for the color edition. I'll continue from where I stopped last time because I don't want to repeat the old stuff, so let's just recap it:
>Most characters had Italianized names in the old release
>New release keeps the original names for the kids but the Italian ones for teachers and bad guys, movie dub is going for the same route
>School's name was "Gabriele De Amicis" (mashup of Italian writers Gabriele D'Annunzio and Edmondo De Amicis) in the old version and the rerelease changed it to Laurel and Hardy
